On the other hand, a laptop computer is a type of portable computer that is generally bigger and heavier than a notebook computer. The good thing about laptop compared to notebook is that it comes with an internal DVD-ROM or DVD-RW driver, so you do not need to purchase an external driver to play your movie DVDs. These days, you can even buy a netbook computer. A netbook is much smaller and lighter than a notebook and laptop. The battery can last up to 8 hours and it comes with a 8-10 inch screen. Since it is equipped with a less powerful processor, you can't really use a netbook computer for multitasking or for entertainment purposes. It generally doesn't come with an internal or external DVD driver, so you will need to purchase a separate external unit. This portable computer is recommended for those who are always on the go and need access to a computer frequently.

Portable computer surely makes life easier. Notebook or laptop computer is recommended for entertainment purposes whilst netbook computer is ideal for people who are always on the go.

Laptops and netbooks are widely distributed nowadays. Everywhere you look, you can find a person holding his very own laptop. This is because laptops can offer almost everything that a desktop computer could offer with the benefit of saving space plus the advantage of using it anytime, anywhere. As a laptop user, you should also know about laptop computer repair to better care for your unit and save money spent on repair.

• Create Back Up

Back up is important because it allows you to save important files just in case you have do something that should not be done while trying to repair a laptop. So before you take any further steps for repairing your laptop, make sure you have taken this important action.

• Turn the Laptop Off

Make sure that your laptop is off and unplugged to avoid shock or electrocution. Remove also the battery and the hard disk if there's a need to disassemble.

• Disassemble When Necessary

Only when it is becomes necessary should you dissemble your laptop. Don't try to disassemble it right away if you still have other options for repairing your unit. If the problem is in the software, then do not touch or try to open (physically) your unit. Try restarting it or perhaps reformatting it.
